The Church of St Mary the Virgin dates back to 1525 with a a fascinating history and boast a magnificent set of bells dating back to the 16th Century.
Visitors to the area should not miss Dedham Church , Willy Lotts House at Flatford and the national trust Information centre at Flatford Bridge Cottage. Dedham also has a museum displaying the works of Sir Alfred Munnings the well known horse artist whilst in Dedham take time to visit the converted Church which now houses a thriving Craft centre acting as a show case for local craftsmen and artists. Walking - This area is particularly well known for its countryside walks that simply can't be missed. The cottage is just a short stroll away from the famous Flatford mill where the famous artist John Constable spent his childhood.
Bird watching - As would be expected in an area of such nature surroundings wildlife abounds none more so than its bird.
Fishing - The local area offers a wide range of fishing opportunities in un spoilt and natural surroundings.
